There were three buildings designed by Frank Lloyd Wright built in the
state of Montana. These consisted of two resorts built in the first
phase of his career, and a more recent medical building.
Building Listings:
Como Orchard Summer Colony, Darby,
Montana, 1908.
This complex is mostly demolished, but two buildings remain.
Bitter Root Inn, Stevensville, Montana,
1908. Demolished.
This inn was promoted along with the Como Orchard project. Some of burned
down in 1924. It is now open to the public.
Lockridge Medical Center, Whitefish,
Montana, 1958.
