Newly-opened to the public (May 1, 1996) is Kentuck Knob (AKA the I.N.Hagan house). This residence, built in 1954 primarily of native sandstone and Tidewater red cypress, is about ten miles (20-30 minutes) from Fallingwater (another Wright-designed residence now open to the public). It is currently owned by Lord and Lady Palumbo, of London. Generally speaking, tours are offered Tuesday through Sunday (not open Monday), 10-4, spring, summer & fall (April through November). Open weekends in winter, weather permitting. $10 a head. No pictures inside. Outdoor pictures OK. There's also a sculpture garden, and a greenhouse with orchids for sale.
The Palumbos are in residence a couple of weeks a year so it is best to call ahead to make reservations. It would likely be closed to the public when they're around.
