Welcome to my web page. This page serves several purposes. It is designed to answer the Frequently Asked Questions about me from friends, prospective employers, and, hopefully, a future wife. My resume will be available soon, for those interested.
I have used Yahoo! to enhance this page. Most links throughout the document point to categories on Yahoo! rather than individual sites. It is my way of offering more choices than simply one. There is a heavy influence of Yahoo! on this page, Why? Because it is my belief that Yahoo! is everything you need to surf the net.
But you don't have to take my word for it... Try it out for yourself!
Please feel free to email me with any questions, I will add them to the list!
A: I often ask myself the same question. Sometimes I have the answers, sometimes I realize that the very question brings up several more. But so far, this is what I have come up with:
Name: David Eugene Lowe
Address: 216 Fifth Avenue North #216 St Petersburg, FL 33701
Born: September 4, 1967
Height: 6'1" Weight: 285 lbs
Marital Status: Divorced
Occupation: Self-employed
A: In reality, I am a pretty simple guy. I'm divorced, a single parent, and I live with my 6 year old daughter Anisi and my pet iguana, "Baby Girl". We live in St. Petersburg, Florida, in a small apartment off the downtown waterfront. We are "poor but proud". I am a writer and a student, eeking out a living doing home-based desktop publishing and web page design.
A: Yes, but looking. I am looking for Miss Right, and when I find her, I will move heaven and earth to be with her. I am even willing to relocate anywhere in the US or Canada.
A: I have a very diverse range of interests. I am an incurable Star Trek fan, and am currently president of USS Victorious, an interactive Star Trek fan club in the Tampa Bay area.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, watching TV, I also attend Star Trek conventions, enjoy singing karaoke, and surfing the Internet. I am also an amateur radio operator, callsign KD4INR.
A: I have many favorites.
Favorite color: Blue
Favorite foods: Italian, Tex/Mex/Southwestern
Favorite soft drink: Coca-Cola CLASSIC
Favorite TV: Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, Babylon 5, The X-Files, Sliders, Seinfeld, Mad About You, and The Simpsons.
Favorite Movies of 1996: Independence Day, Kingpin
Favorite Movies of All Time: Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, Patton, Star Wars, Spaceballs, The Alien Trilogy, Predator, and Rocky movies.
Favorite Music: 80's Dance, 50's, 60's, 70's and some modern music.
A: My online interests are as diverse as my "real life" interests. Some even say they can be one and the same! I frequent Internet Relay Chat, or IRC. I can be found primarily on Undernet on the #florida and #bbw, and #big-folks channels as "Kubiak".
A: It comes from one of my favorite defunct Fox sitcoms, Parker Lewis Can't Lose. The character of Larry Kubiac, nemesis to Parker and crew. The character was played by actor Abraham Benrubi. Many know him today as Jerry on ER, plus he was also in John Candy's last film, Wagons East. Some say I look like him, but I don't know.
Favorite Links: Some of my favorite WWW sites.
