I came home from my first term at Lancaster, and found that my mom had done some remodeling. I went into Monica's room and saw that she now had a bathroom. I started looking around in her bathroom (which was tiled all over, ceiling and all) and saw that she had 3 toilets! I asked my mom why that was, and she pointed out that her bathroom, Monica's bathroom, and Erica's bathroom (all new) were joined together, so I had actually just walked through all three. I didn't get a bathroom in my room.

I went up to my Grandpa and Grandma Obermeyer's house where my dad was along with my grandparents and my Aunt Lisa. My dad said that Wade (my cousin) was in the area because he had come to visit. Then he asked if I had seen my cousin (referring to wade). I said no, and Lisa got all mad. She was like "You have too seen your cousin! You saw Alexis (her daughter) this morning!" I told her I remembered that, but that I assumed my dad meant Wade. She calmed down.

Somehow I got into the courtyard of Bowland college (or maybe Lonsdale, but I think it was Bowland). We were finishing up a game of softball. All the members of the other team (I think it was an Auburn city rec team) were walking away. There was just one final girl at bat for their team. They were leaving because regardless of what this girl did at bat, they would still lose. She popped up to centerfield (which wasn't very deep, considering the courtyard is probably 70 feet square).

After she left the field, some tall girl came on and started picking up the leftover balls and tossing them in towards home plate. By now, the courtyard had turned into some old-west street scene, with a boarded sidewalk and canopies in front of every store covering every inch of the boardwalk (the real-life courtyard is very similar, with overhangs covering the sidewalk areas). Her "tosses" became progressively harder, until finally they were HARD throws. I said that I was going in, cos there was no way I was going to stand around and get hit. I got to the door of a saloon and had just about pulled it open when I got nailed in the nape of my neck with a softball. I smacked against the door and then slumped to the ground. I couldn't do anything, but I could still hear.

Some girl asked "Is he unconscious?" I heard my dad's voice answer "No, he fell too quickly to be unconscious. Let's get him inside." So some people grabbed on to me and started dragging me inside. My face was rubbing on the dirty wooden floor, and I could feel little chunks of stuff sticking to my lips and tongue. Then I felt myself start to hyperventilate. I could see the legs of a bar stool. Then it went black.
