My friends Mike and Brian and I were at the Belltower, an old house southeast of Auburn. I don't remember what exactly we were doing there, but I do remember looking around in all directions from ground level. My attention was mainly focused towards the southwest. We stayed there for a while, and it never struck me as odd that I could see in all directions from ground level.
We took off towards the west and drove by an old decaying house. I told them that this house used to belong to an old widow, but when she died no one took care of it. The house had a tower on one corner, but all that was left of it was an extremely bare wood structure and piles of brick. I told them that it's too bad no one restored the house sooner so that it could have been saved.
Approximately a week later, with my dad, cousin, and grandparents, I discovered that the Belltower had burned to the ground. I then remembered this dream, and it became apparent how I was able to look in all directions from the ground level--there were no walls left to obstruct my view.
