Maxwell Eden, Kiteworks - Explorations in Kite Building and Flying, 1989, ISBN 0-8069-6713-7

A comprehensive book focussing mainly on single-line kites. About a third of the book addresses general kiting issues: types of kites, materials, construction techniques, flying techniques, history of kites; the rest of the book features approx. 50 detailed plans.
I have been told that some of the plans are erroneous or inconsistent; I can't confirm this yet, since I haven't built any of the kites so far. Regardless, I highly recommend this book to any single-line enthusiast.
