Chris Wright, Kite Flight: Theory and Practise, 1998, 71 pages, ISBN 1-898253-23-4
Chris Wright analyses the aerodynamics of single line kites and derives a few simple, practical guidelines for designing and tuning flightworthy kites.
The book is comparable to The Tao of Kite-Flying in its intent, but I found it a lot more accessible. It is not as rigorous as the Tao, but it makes up for that in providing useful rules of thumb which are extremely helpful. Highly recommended.
