This is a modern, competition-grade fighter kite designed by Jeff MacInnis. The skin is made from Orcon, an extremely light ripstop material. Unlike Icarex or Mylar, it is soft and has a certain degree of flexibility. This makes the kite fly smoothly and handle well in gusty winds. The skin is glued and vital points are reinforced with Orcon tape.
The spine is a traditional bamboo spine; the bow is 0.06" micro-carbon. The bridle uses a Y-configuration for maximum adjustability.
