POTENTIAL DIFFERENCE
The potential is measure of the energy per unit positive charge, the potential difference is a measure of the difference in the potential between two points. If two points are at the same potential no charge will flow between them. Potenital differences are measured in Volts (V), one Volt is equal to 1 joule per Coulomb.
