in brief:
Richard E. Moore is the youngest Wall dude, at 20 or so years. Former and current resident of Salem, Oregon, Richard joined up with Chris for a few jams a couple of years ago, but
lack of initiative on both of their parts meant that nothing much came of it until the building of the Wall. talents:
His songwriting has been sadly underused, although we play some of his stuff live and at least a couple will appear on subsequent recordings. He plays guitars (usually 12-string or electric)
and sings (brilliantly), and tells jokes while someone replaces a broken string. personality: Talk about hippies! extracurriculum:
Filmmaking, acting, coffeehouse-running and general mayhem. Presently a more-or-less proud resident of Salem, Oregon. |

in brief:
Pete Wysard is the middle child, at 19. He came to us from the local scene in Jamestown, New York (near the birthplace of 10,000 Maniacs, the Spin Doctors, and
Rusted Root). It was the mutual love for Spirit of the West and other Celtic and psuedo-Celtic bands that brought Chris and Pete to playing together. It was only a matter of time before Richard came into the picture.
talents: Pete plays percussion and drums, and has written or co-written some of our best stuff. He sings very well but not enough. He's also been known to pick up a guitar
for some originals, and some killer Spirit of the West covers. He sits in the back and glowers, occasionally comically. personality: Low key, with an offbeat sense of humor.
extracurriculum: Hunting down the perfect hand drum. Talk about one-track minds! Now that heīs received an expert education in dog training, heīs going the entrpreneurial
route in upstate New York. |

in brief:
Chris Devine is the old fogey, having 27 years of life experience. He has returned to his childhood home of Glendale, Arizona after five years in the Coast Guard. He is co-founder and co-owner of Divine Celtic Sounds (mail-order Celtic music), and owns and operates BFO Productions (graphic design, publication, and other media) and its marginably more viable
subsidiary, BFO Recordings. talents: Chris does a lot of things, like lead vocals, guitars (partial to 6-string acoustic, although
you'll find him occasionally hiding in a dark closet with his Les Paul turned up to 11), bass guitar, keyboards, and bodhran. He can also play Appalachian dulcimer, mandolin, and clarinet/ oboe/
saxophone. He's working on bagpipes and tin whistle. The Wall's main songwriter. Heīs also spent the past few months working on a techno/dance remix of The Edge of the World that may or may not ever see the light of day.
personality: Very little; quirky, perhaps. He tries to tell jokes. Tries. extracurriculum:
Writing, photography, obsessive music collection, Internet addiction, Divine Celtic Sounds, college (only another year to go!). |
