08/25/96 - guess what i did by my ownest self today! i pierced my own tongue with a sewing needle! all by myself! aren't i a big girl now?
09/02/96 - well, my tongue got promptly infected two days later; i ended up with a swollen tongue, a sore throat, a low fever, and no more tongue pierce. but fortunately, i've been able to keep the hole, mainly by poking a pin into it every day. i'm all better now, physically. school starts tomorrow, augghh! where's the nearest bell tower?
09/11/96 - yay! my tongue has retained its hole. i still have a tongue pierce! my cousin paul is bitching that i don't mention him. so i'm doing it now. i have a cousin named paul.
09/12/96 - i've decided to let the hole close up. i can't wear it at school; the teachers think i'm a punk already and i know they don't like punks; i need every single percent i can get and can't afford to piss people off. i can't wear it at home cos my 'rents don't know. so what's the point of having it if i can't wear it for the majority of the day?
10/06/96 - actually, i didn't let the hole close up. it's still there. after i do a series of b/w photos on it, i'm going to let it go. really, i will.
10/31/96 - today for hallowe'en at school, i was all gothed up and i put a dangly bell earring in my tongue and it nauseated a lot of people. yay! i also did my b/w photos on my tongue today, so i suppose that it means it's time to say bye-bye to my tongue. maybe i'll keep it after all. i'm the most indecisive person in the world.
01/06/97 - i realized that i hadn't posted my desicion yet, so here it is. i let it close up. it's gone. i might get it repierced with a 14 or 9 gauge, who knows? but for now it's gone bye-bye.
update 03/27/02 - my cousin paul now has a tongue pierce. i have none, though if you bite my tongue, you can feel the scar.
