By accident, I stumbled over a lacemaking site with a link of this lady to her husbands pinhole pages. I was interested, and so I started to experiment myself. My first one was a shoebox with a hand made needle drilled pinhole, then I switched over to "professional" laser drilled pinholes and calculations, but believe me: maybe the fotos are better with laser drilled pinholes, but it's more fun and excitement to do it "the old fashioned way". (See E. Renner with "The Peter Pan Principle") The only problem for me is the choice of the negative: Normally I use Ilford Multigrade paper as negative, but nearly all papers are ortochromatic, and so you loose a part of the colors. But on the other side, you can load your cameras with dark room light and that makes loading much easier.

Title: Jozef Wautersstraat # 1 (my home)
Negative original size: 180 x 122 mm
Camera: My first shoe box, details lost
Remarks: On a rainy day, I parked my car on the car port of our opposite neighbour and put the shoe box on top of the car. See the raindrops on the roof of the car in the right down corner of the foto ? That's really wide angle and so sharp are pinhole foto's !

Title: Bosstraat # 1
Negative original size: 225 x 125 mm
Camera: "Ice Bay" shoe box, focus 120 mm
Remarks: Made during pinhole lessons for the youth of the city of Boom during summer '98

Camera: "Delacre" cookie tin, focus 30 mm
Remarks: This tin can load papers till a format of about 240 x 180 mm, but everything outside 90 x 60 mm dosn't get enough light

Title: Schorre # 1
Negative original size: 60 x 90 mm (roll film 120)
Camera: AGFA BILLY folding camera, focus 110 mm
Remarks: I don't consider this one a real pinhole foto. The only thing I did was to remove the lens and the (damaged) shutter of the Billy and replace it with a laser drilled pinhole and adapt the aperture time
