The CoIG began with two boys in a small town in Greenville, NC. There was a high school, which featured a rather unhumorous news show. This news show played a large amount of country music, besides expressing sexist sentiments and interest in drug usage. The punks of the school decided to do something about it. Enlisting the help of their friends throughout school, they sent letter after letter and threat after threat to the news team demanding the ceasing of the country music. Recruits sprung up daily with their own versions of justice upon the news cast, mainly with the said letters and also food warfare at lunchtime. After a grueling two months of these letters, the news finally bent to the will of the people and the CoIG became infamous as those who would stand up to the media. Apples are another story altogether.
This year we'll be helping out any lone freshmen that might be in senior targets at lunchtime...we warn them now to watch themselves. (Aug. 3)
