So yeah.. caught Matrix: Reloaded last night. Was it me or did they just try to turn Matrix into a chick flick? Wtf? With all the "I Love you"s and "I used to bone that chick"s going on I could have sworn I was watching Melrose Place or something. And wtf was with the direct Star Wars rip? When Neo meets the dude at the end of the movie...(whos name I'll leave out for the sake of spoilers) I was just waiting for him to say, "Neo, I am your father..." followed by Keanu shreiking "nooOOooooOoooo!" losing a limb somehow. Ugh, on top of that throw in cheesy CGI and ample use of a BAD BAD BAD script and you have the most over hyped movie of the century...yes even more than the Star Wars Prequels!

If anything they took a great concept in Matrix and threw in more fighting to keep the pace and tried to ride it out. On top of that threw in a pseudo-love scene to try and pull in the female demographic that they ALMOST abandoned in the first film. Lastly they try to salvage the mystique of the first film with one scene w/ a Colonel Sanders look a like in a white room. Ohhh I'm impressed...not.

- All Along The Watchtower -

done by Taj Mahal
"There must be some way out of here,"
said the joker to the thief,
"There's too much confusion,
I can't get no relief
Businessmen they drink my wine,
plowmen dig my earth
None of them along the line know what any of it is worth"

"No reason to get excited,"
the thief, he kindly spoke
"There are many among us
who feel that life is but a joke
But you and I, we've been through that
and this is not our fate
So let us not talk falsely now, the hour is getting late"

All along the watchtower
Princes kept the view
While all the women came and went
Barefoot servants, too
Outside in the distance
A wildcat did growl
Two riders were approaching
The wind began to howl
