Cosmic Womb
These scenes that I have seen
Inside a thousand intrepid dreams
I know
what it means
I’m ashamed
For all I’ve come to believe
It has not served
me well
I don’t believe in any god
but
I’ve have come to know
and love them all
Such a beautiful precious collection
of human frailties
We live beyond ourselves
within the higher consciousness
of the other being
Only bits of fragmented imagery
of the deity
we'll never see
Reflections upon another world
Where everything is but a strange afterglow
Are you ready for the next step?
Did you pass this test?
Blink one day
and it all will be gone
Floating away like a child’s balloon
Become a part of the whole
you are about to be re-born
We are all but tiny cells
of another entity
Still forming inside
the cosmic womb
of potential possibilities
