Fog

I want to lose myself
inside the fog that lingers
lazily beside
and inside us all

I want to melt within
the winter snow
going back to where ever
it goes

I want to roll along with the tumbleweed
across the bleakest most barren badlands
Only a few men
will ever see

I want to float along with the breeze
over the highest mountains
Silently adrift
above the turbulent seas

I want to find
some place
where
I’ll belong

Somewhere safe
with no sense
of harm

Where I can live
forever,
peacefully

Without the slightest
trace of me 1
