End of the school year! For the last week, I spent my time packing away my classroom and my own things. I thought it would be easy, I had done it two years ago, and I had only come back this year.

Hah! One year was plenty enough time to accumulate "stuff." I told Nick it'll just be two boxes. Hmmm, seven boxes and my refrigerator and microwave.

Anyway, we always have an end of the school year luncheon. This year, it was at a restaurant about a block away from the school.

The Piatto D'Oro is an Italian restaurant. I decided to have this chicken dish with a nice lemon sauce. The other dishes were meat, pasta, or vegetables, all scrumptious as well. Dessert? Mmmm, a raspberry and vanilla sorbet.

My kids have grown, they aren't little anymore. I guess I could say the same for me; middle school may have a different set of challenges than early childhood, but to teach just Math ... moving on to a new adventure!
