A Little bit about the Artist

I grew up in a small town in Pa called Lakecity about 20 miles West of Erie Pa. I Graduated In 1983 and joined the Navy in 1985. My enlistment in the Navy was for a little over 8 years as a Radioman 2nd class. After the Navy I stayed in San Diego Ca and started working as a Security Guard in a UCSD hospital for about 2 years contracted in. My next job is my Present job as a Administrative Assistant Telcom one. My job includes answering the main switchboard for UCSD Hospital along with montering the alarms for the hospital and dispatching security, while paging/take messages for Doctors on staff..we enter around 250 on call schedules a month..its a boring job but it pays the bills for now..

Some of my hobbies include Photography, drawing, painting and writing some poems (or thoughts in my head). Some of my drawings and paintings will be placed on my web page as soon as I can. The Paintings that I have painted are Winnie the Pooh and Tazmana Devil along with Tweety..My Drawings are a variety of things someday I will add those to...I also have done some ceramic work pictures of those will be add also someday..I just found out that a poem that I submitted to a contest has been selected to be published in a book and put on tape being read by a professional reader with baroque music accompaniment. The tapes title is The Sound of Poetry which is a collection series..I am not sure when or if it will be available to the public...The poem is to be published in the book titled On Wings of the Wind (ISBN 1-57553-806-7) if I remember right it should be released in the fall some time...My friend Shawnee is insisting I put it on my web page if I can I'll try to put that and some of my others on the web page also...When you read them I ask that you not judge, and remember different things in my life inspired me to write how I felt at that time...Just read them with an open mind...

published in the book: On Wings of the Wind
         
            What Do You See               
   As you walk into the shadows of darkness and
   look into its eyes, and see the mans soul
   What do you see?
   I see death, Destruction, Anger.
   What else do you see?
   I see life, happiness, harmony.
   Is there more?
   Yes, I see Emptiness, loneliness
   and pain. Who is this man? who's soul          
   is it I see?
   This mans who's soul you see belongs to thee.
