The Sanandajian speak kurdish. Kurdish is an Indian-European language and the nation of Kurds are a brunch of Aryan.

The people who live in the middle of Middle East dissolved between five countries : Iran, Iraq, Turkey, Syria, and ex Suit Union are Kurds. Kurdish has five main branches: Sorani, Badinani, Javaroee, Kalhorri and Loari. Ardalani that the people in Sanandaj speck is a part of sorani.

In Iran the National language is Persian (Farsi) and almost all of the city can speak Farsi very well either. The Persian were in power for last centuries they didn't let Kurdish people have education by their own language. Because of this many educated people can't write and even read Kurdish, but they are very good in Farsi.
