Most of the people of the Sanandaj are Kurdish. They are very kind and are very friendly with visitors. There is also people from other cities migrated to Sanandaj that speak Persian. The Islamic Government has sent a lot of these people to Sanandaj specially after the revolution, and has given them the key positions. You may ask why and it is just because the citys citizens have different language and different religion, they are Sonni a branch of Islam, government has the Sheaa religion other branch of Islam. Any way, after revolution with bankrupt of the veligers because the war between Kurdish Parties and government and bad economical situation, they group group moved to the city and suddenly the population get expand. Another level people living in Sanandaj are Jewish. They are not a lot, but like all around the world they are business man. They are very kind and for years they are living with Kurds in peace. In the past all people wore Kurdish clothes but now most people are wearing the western clothes and they use Kurdish Clothes just for parties and weddings.
