I lie in a meadow, the green grass around me
the smell of it stays in my mind
the buttercups feel so soft
with purity easy to find.
I lie there and listen
the birds in full song
I don't want to get up
I could stay there for so long
The sun and its yellow rays
beam down onton my face
and as the heat touches my body
it's like being rapped in silk and lace.
In the distance you can hear
the waves of the deep blue sea
just lying there alone
I feel so very free.
I can see and hear the world
the beauty of it I find
I can see and hear this world
for all I'm totally blind.
