A Pocket Full of Dreams
Poem by Sharon Elton
I found them hidden there
They seemed old yellow and grey
They were beyond repair
Until I threw them in the air
They seemed to spark and, golden, glow
Golden flakes sparkling flickering
Landed back in my mind like gold dust
New dreams to be dreamt.
