Food for Thought

Am wondering what to get for tea,
..................and trying not to think
Just where the food is coming from
..................and should I have a drink?
The egg I ate this morning:
..................hard-boiled, green-rimmed inside
And will the meat for dinner have
..................un-naturally died?

Am having fish tomorrow
..................wonder what it ate?
And how much radiation
..................it took before the bait?
The lettuce looks quite crisp and green
..................inspite of acid rain
Must keep a balanced diet and
..................avoid the stomach pain.

Have cut down on the sugar,
...................the butter, and the bread
Decided not to dwell on things
...................or I could land up dead.
