Merry Christmas Everybody
And welcome to the fourth issue of "The Bentilean" magazine {Christmas 1991}. And for those who say "The trouble with theses community magazines is that they're just the same old people, issue after issue after issue", there's four new writers, including a one-time contributor to UBB magazine, Elsie Procter, and a Heavy Metal lyricist who calls himself 'Worzel' -- just as motley assortment as ever!
Meanwhile, we'd like to say a special thanks to the Leisure & Recreation Dept, based in Hanley Park, for the lovely Christmassy cover, the calendar, the hedgehog with lantern picture and last but not least, the use of their photocopying facilities. I, however, must take the blame for the contents, and all the other illustrations in this issue.
Finally, look out for the fortnightly 'Bentilean' eight page mini-mag, due to start mid-January '92 -- which will concentrate on news and features. More creative items though will still be welcomed.
