The Bentilean No. 7
Welcome......
......to the August issue!!!
Well alright then, the somewhat late April issue.
And, sad to say, the last issue too. As I couldn't get the hang of my college studies and doing this mag last term, I stand no chance this time as I'm hoping to do even more. And as for next year? Well, I just didn't want to commit myself, so this is your lot.
Special thanks go to P.M. Pet & DIY Supplies for having consistently supported the mag since its conception in July 1990, and of course to all the writers without whom there would have been an awful lot of empty pages, or worse, stuff written by me. Thanks too to the Leisure & Recreation Dept in Hanley Park for letting me produce it on their photocopier and for the excellent cover pictures of the last three issues which their artists did for me.
And finally, in anticipation of never getting round to writing a book I'd like to dedicate this last issue to a few dead releatives (my father and the great-grandparents who raised me) and a few living ones. Particularly my 'sisters. A small compensation perhaps for the fact that I have as much idea of how to be a half-brother as I have of flying Concorde. Less actually, I did once see Airport 80 so know how to crash one!
