Coleco has been in the electronic game business since almost the beginning. They not ony made pong machines, but handhelds and console systems as well. Its been very dry in this area as Coleco items go, but as I predicted, the revolving availability of items has come around to Coleco.
The Coleco Telstar Ranger
A desireable pong unit from Coleco. It has two paddle controllers , and a six-shooter light gun. It runs on batteries as well as with an ac adapter. Luckily, I found the unit complete and in excellent condition.
The Colecovision
At first, all I could find was a single cart, and one controller in the wild, with a couple of ridiculously priced bare systems at a scalper's booth. After patiently waiting, I finally got one. It didn't have a power supply, but it did have expansion module one with it. After a few weeks, I was able to trade for a power supply... boy, is this a nice system. I can remember wanting this one more than anything. It looked good in the magazines, and now that I have it, it looks good at home. I think that the arcade ports are top notch, and the graphics are very nice. It just feels very well done. I hope to find more games in the near future... *fingers crossed*...
The Colecovision Expansion Module #1
The expansion allows the Colecovision to play Atari 2600 games. It plugs into a port on the front of the console, and has two controller ports.
The Colecovision Expansion Module #2
This expansion gives the CV a little 'drive'.. hehe. The steering wheel seems to run on batteries, and has a gas pedal which attaches to the front. I believe that 'Turbo' came packed in, but I didn't find the game with the unit, so I'll have to wait to see if it works. The other CV stuff I got with it worked great, so I have high hopes.

The Coleco Gemini Video Game System
While browsing around a flea market, I came across a booth with plenty of N64 and PSX games. I scanned the games and was about to leave when I spied a 2600 cart hidden behind some other stuff. Moving things around brought a stack of 2600 games, and this Gemini unit. =). The woman who was there started to tell me all about these games (of course, with little resemblance to reality.) In the end, I got 25 games, controllers, all the hook-ups and the unit for $15.00... Its a 2600 made by Coleco. If I remember correctly, Atari was pretty PO'ed about it and there was some sort of law suit... I'll have to ask about it.
