Wind threads my sun singed hair
Gazing up at the marshmallow sky
                        Somehow reminded of the stars
And the black night that will never die

Intertwined are my nights and my days
Lying on the sweet smelling green
I find a star like your eyes
Wishing amongst millions to be seen

I think of you and nights that will never end
My heart winds everlasting in time
Within the sky, within the air
I wonder if what lies in you can be mine.

GIRL She winds her web She suffers so graceful and obscure wanting to love unseen but sought regretting actions acted upon forever attracting she loves them all but to gain her but one she cannot have unpure this is for whom she lusts those who seek her using every will and power fall in the strings falling falling she tastes them she gets bottom drop bewilders all who dare to another fly caught in the web love her? caught, yet untasted she discards them but she wants it by luck of the draw graspy greedy spindly seemingly no mercy she winds her way her cyclic fashion but faces rejection winds on. the fly gets away.

				What I expected

				Adoration
				Unrelentless love
				Nonchalant glances
				Half hearted smiles
				In a trance
				Expecting to forget
				A since lost game
				Gaining love
				In efforts to tame
				Letting go
				There was a chance
				But there was no chance
				But only a hurt
				How unexpected is love?

				Authority

Eyes brimming, filling up and seemingly neverending.
She doesn't want to typify the "bad kid"
but clever, smart genius allows rule bending
			morals? what are they?
			who needs `em?
merriness can last throughout the day
the big people just don't understand
			over her they tower,
			intimidation is their hand
			she plays them
			cunningly conning a path
			parents, friends, tout le même
watch her, see her play the game
she is the master of words
all of them are the same
			she lives in her lies
			breaking free? intangible
everyone ignores her truths, even the skies.

				Flowers to sway
				the birds to sing
				the children to laugh
				and the wind to ring.
				Instead all was dark
				`twas the quiet night
				the silence unbroken
				yet all seemed right.

				My feelings are jumbled
				my heart is a token
				for the words untold
				speak unspoken.

				Don't fall, she said
				be careful, he said
				shut up I said.
				I fell.

				I am angry, I cry
				I am human who
				sees sights unseen
				speaks words unspoken
				I laugh, I cry
				I am woman
				who is strong?
				I am, see me
				because I am here
				love is hands made me
				feel my heart
				feel the heart's love?
				It surges with beauty
				because I can love,
				I am me.

				The laugh
				tumbled
				as it
				fell out
				from her
				mouth. It
				loudly
				proclaimed
				her joy.
				she felt
				better
				and laughed
				some more.
				now laugh
				ing free
				but halt
				as she
				began
				to cry.
				Moral
				do not
				laugh at
				your dad.
