Scott's corner.
Welcome to Scott's corner. My name is Scott Pressler. I am dedicating this little corner of the internet to share with you, some of the blessings God has given to me. I will also share a little bit about myself and what's going on in my life.

I've been married to my wife Gina for almost four happy years now. God has really blessed our marriage, and blessed me with a loving, Christian wife.

We have been blessed with our new house for two years now. Before we bought the house, we knew we wanted one that we could use for rehearsals, fellowship, and that could accomodate a studio. We knew we needed a large room for a studio, and it had to have it's own entrance with easy access for equipment. We had to have enough parking for all of our own vehicles, plus enough for all the people that would be coming over to rehearse or record (without infringing on our neighbors). We set a limit on how much we were willing to pay. We had a first choice of areas where we wanted to live, in mind. With all that, we set out to find the right house. We moved in to our new house only five weeks after we had even decided to start looking. We stayed within the price range we had set, and it was in the neighborhood which was our first choice! It had a 20x25 foot room that met all the studio needs - plus we still had a regular house: three bedrooms, a living room, dining room, kitchen, two bathrooms, and a laundry room. It was a corner house with parking sufficient for 14 cars (not counting the two car garage). Because it's a corner house, we are not so close to our neighbors that they are disturbed by the volume of having a band rehearse next door to them. And believe me when I tell you, the sound system - plus all the separate amps for guitars and bass have enough power to blow the doors off (they all go up to 11).

We knew this was the house God had for us. Escrow closed 4 weeks after we first saw the place, and we moved in a week later. Over the last two years, we've been acquiring all the equipment needed to turn in into a decent studio. This last weekend, we added another digital 8 track recorder to our studio. We now have a digital 16 track studio with a 32x8 recording mixer. This comes just in time, as we are currently involved in several projects. We are currently recording a demo for a local Christian band that plays the LA/Hollywood club scene. We have done radio commercials for a local Christian coffee house/bookstore. We are producing an album for a local Christian artist. We have our involvement with SEVIL DOG. And I am also a member in another Christian band that is just getting started. Our prayer is that God would continue to provide for the studio as well as to continue to provide the studio a purpose.

Here are a couple of pictures of my instruments. My favorite instrument is the synthesizer, but I also really enjoy playing the bass.

I am very thankful for the new life I've been given in Christ. God has provided abundantly for all of our needs. And many of our desires as well. We will continue to struggle through life and stay on the path that leads through the narrow gate. Our foundation is in Him. We stay in His word, and fellowship with other believers. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. He will direct our path. Our job is to stay in His will, and step out in faith to share the gifts we've been given. I would like to ask that you keep us in your prayers for God's protection and guidance.
