The Sanitorium

Under The Sign Of The Hourglass

Saturday 11th September 1993

In work for 8:30am. Slept like a baby log. Worked till 12. Want to do a bit of shopping. Scott + Steve are picking me up at 3pm. We're off to Wellam later.
A short poem entitled "Goldfish: Om, Om, Om...dead". Also "S.A.D. aye eee", "You said that before", "Give it away".
Went to town bought Sons and Lovers by D.H. Lawrence and The Breeders + Frank Black singles also James single for Rachel B.
Evening went to Wellam and ate too much (lasagne + mixed grill), then Steves sister gave us a lift to town - Kellys, Fortys, Muswells, Ritzy. Saw Sharon and Marie. Also so Tasha at Fortys. Masses of tottie at Ritzy. Scott went home. Me and Steve stayed awhile and then went to the Thatcher experience at Roadmenders - a great night loads of good music. Got a taxi home just in time for mum leaving for her coach, she's away for a week in Austria. V. tired. Listening to my singles. Talked with Steve about Sadie. Think I should ask her to come somewhere quiet and talk.

I am bored to tears, home James.
