The Sanitorium

Under The Sign Of The Hourglass

Thursday 26th August 1993

Golly it's a lifetime away what happened last night. Somehow I got up at 7am, made my lunch and picked Alistair up at 8am. Work was run of the mill. I want to take Sadie away somewhere for a weekend or a few days - somewhere where we can do whatever we want till whatever time we want - no worries, no cares, lovely. Wait till I get my next wages and I'll have a look see. Out tonight down 40s with Honey and friends celebrating their results. Feel tired but must go. Shall see Sadie friday, what shall we do? - ice skating, bowling hmmmm.
Bah what a night! Craig picked me up 7:30ish (I had fallen asleep on my arm and had pins and needles!). Went to Scotts and decided that I would drive home and pick craig up from Scotts in the morning. So I was on cokes but got along okay despite the fact that everyone was getting very drunk. I was a bit distant because it wasn't where I really wanted to be. Everyone was crass about asking what me + Sadie got up to - I hate that. Don't know what they think. At forties with Honey + friends - she was v.v.drunk + snogged with Scott at least 3 times. I could see she had gone too far and sure enough she ended up puking down an allyway. The taxi wouldn't take her so I got a taxi to Scotts and got the Astra and came and picked her up. A couple of her friends came and got her home. Her friend Karen realised she'd lost her watch (with great sentimental value) + had hysterics so I had to give Honey a firemans lift to the door + her mums boyfriend took her to bed. Poor girl, she was in a real bad way. Karen was v. annoying - in hysterics about this watch + she hates Honey for having a party and she'll never go to another etc etc etc. Having finished the mercy dash dropped Steve off - he was acting weird I thought, probably just pissed. Can't wait for tomorrow!

I am bored to tears, home James.
