Rachael was a very talented young woman. Her art skills alone astound me. Very few people will ever have skills like that in their entire life, and she had them at 19. She was also a writer of some skill. Being a writer myself, I know how hard it can be to put together coherent writings. She was good. She died young. We who knew her miss her, and will continue to do so. As long as we remember, then part of her is still alive. And we do. Rest In Peace.
A note for those who may wonder about the penguins/happyish theme. Rachael didn't want a funeral. She didn't have a funeral. She wanted people to get together and remember her in a happy way. There was a gathering in her honor at her house after her death. I can't say it was all smiles, but it wasn't all tears either. She wanted to be remembered, not mourned. This page is an expression of that. (Oh, and she liked penguins.)
