WHAT IS?

What is a friend?
A friend is someone who listens
A friend respects one's space & boundaries,
A friend accepts what is given freely
and not his or hers to receive
A friend is honest as can be, regardless
of the consequence it may bring
A friend, most of all, can trust what is.

once lost
now found
thanks to that prose
someone had given me

lost touch
with that person
who that poem
described to a 't'

perhaps friendship
was lost
but we are

who win
all in all
remembering that friend
(described to be)
i was always
to everybody

i listen
( may not always hear)
and respect one's
space and boundaries

       although at times
        i overstep my grounds
        don't you believe i'm
         intending to invade

i graciously accept all which is freely given to me
allowing these gifts
to flow thru me
in a spiritual way

i'm honest as allowed even
should its consequence mean
i'll be standing alone
thru eternity

for with GOD
i am never alone
As you'll soon see
God is within
this i trust is is.
