FINDING

I did find a word that was of you
So strong that I did care to continue.
Did we not share the joy of sunset
Only to find ourselves at sunrise
Wondering why and how we came
To be in such a position as that?
That we did share the sunrise as well
From far across the horizon
I felt the shame of love kissed lips
Gone for so long waiting and now over.
In wild careless abandon I lost
Me
Finding me again in your arms
A side of me I liked.
So strong that I did care to continue.
