behind his symbol of power
his table
sheets all stamped and signed
fists closed and ready for action
a true warrior of god
with tactical weaponry engaged
on acid-free light stock which is
printed in eye-grabbing red ink
asking simple easy questions, too many questions
hunting about the open wound
with a sharpened cross
poking
and confronted suddenly confused, cornered
you thought you had a friend
turns into an enraged little animal
clawing the free will across the table to save
each pinstripe focused on the task at hand
appearing christian, but still in command
