message from
the Reverend, Canon Dr. Jan Dijkman, President of Zerf Productions I was elected president of Zerf Productions at the last annual general meeting. As a South African minister I hope to make a meaningful contribution to the mandate of Zerf Productions which promotes unrecognized artists, feeds and clothes the poor, and wishes to help people train and develop skills at the Communications Institute in South Africa. It is a joy to be able to tell you that another shipment of computers, clothing, and books has left for the New Hope Centre, the Khayalitsha township, and the farm schools around Worcester, South Africa. We want to thank all the people in the Montreal community who have contributed to Zerf Productions’ programme to provide opportunities for training the underprivileged people of South Africa. I am thinking not only of those who donated the goods and provided shipping, but also the young members of the Korean Church in NDG and the McGill students who repaired and programmed them. God bless you all as your goodwill reaches out to a far flung corner of the globe. |
