Reflections

(c) 1989 Ian Bennett

There are many turning points in your life,

but you never see them for what they are,

until looking back you realise you cannot return.

Have you ever realised that the life you are living,

is not the one you wished for?

Decisions in your life are like stones cast,

making ripples in the pond, changing your life.

The casting of one stone is but one event yet

multitudes of ripples move across the surface

the ripples of decisions cast,

that move across your life are not always your own

someone else is throwing stones.
