nobodyman
his voice is much like that of Eeyore the donkey and Marvin the paranoid android. he's almost always depressed, and enjoys his depression. he considers himself a total nobody, someone completely lacking in significance. he was originally a superhero who would fight for the rights of the downtrodden, the oppressed, the nobodies, the underdogs... but no one ever asked for his help. so, he opened the Black Beret Café (the current place is new, he had an old one before).

on February 28, 1999, he named himself emperor of something. he's not sure what yet, but he'll build his empire and it'll last for a long time, even beyond his death in 2062. here is a story from the future (or a little bit of one, anyway).

Rhiminee Cat
or "R-cat" for short is based on a character from the Nightrunner books of Lynn Flewelling (Luck in the Shadows, Stalking Darkness, and Traitor's Moon). he is a catburglar, sort of; someone who can obtain information, accomplish certain objectives for people... for the right price. this is a sideline. mainly, he is a royal spy, a Watcher, who worked for the wizard Nysander, on behalf of Queen Idrilain of Skala (of which Rhiminee is the capital). mostly, i use R-cat as a handle in the poetry room at The Park but i could try and be something like the character, if anyone wanted me to...

toastboy
he is the pure embodiment of shiny, happy insanity. he loves life, he loves people, he loves toast. he loves anything vaguely like toast (bagels, muffins, waffles, donuts, cereal, etc). anyone who tries to keep him from his toast is in big trouble. he cannot be kept from toast, no matter how hard you try. if you do try, you're just setting yourself up for your own personal armageddon. he has a few of his own words. he calls people or things he likes "toasty" which basically means "very good." his word for "friend" is "friendli," and the plural is "friendlies." he calls lots of people friendlies, anyone from people he's only heard of and vaguely likes, to his closest friends, and anyone in between. he likes to have deep philosophical discussions sometimes, but mostly he likes to be just crazy and childish in his speech and behavior. he sometimes runs around waving toast and chanting the word "toast" or "toastboy" over and over. he also likes to read, watch tv and movies, and listen to music. you can find him at toastboy's lair.

wayfarer
he is a powerful sorcerer from Analand, in the land of Kakhabad, who's had many adventures, and still does from time to time. his history is based on the Sorcery adventure RPG type books by Steve Jackson. currently he likes to stay mostly at the inn/tavern/discotek/etc he owns, the Wayfarers' Rest. he is one of the best friends of teknomage, another of my personalities. recently he has met and fallen in love with a sorceress named Merga.

dangerboy
a reckless adventurer. he used to take "suicide lessons" from Master Bobby. this basically entailed jumping off snowbanks in the winter on the elementary school playground, and he imagines it having grown into other things, like jumping off mountains and such. he is one of the co-founders (and only remaining member- the others probably don't remember and wouldn't care about it) of the DBA-- Daring Brave Adventurers. technically there is only the one of them right now, but he did once open a suicide praxeum... he may again in the future... hopefully he'll get some students and train them to join the DBA. i think there's a possibility the DBA might become, even if it's just him, an elite squad of special ops agents for the Dominion of the Geeks (see "king tek")

he...talks with...a great...many...ellipses... he... can't... really... stop himself.... he... sounds...alot... like... a very... bad imitation... of... captain... kirk....

friar tek
this is a name i have sometimes in the past used for my Developing New Universal Religion (DNUR), when a few years ago i tried to get DNUR going on the Dom. i don't really use it these days, but i might again sometime. hard to say. ...by the way, if the name "friar tek" is here categorized as somewhat unimportant, it is just the handle that is so. DNUR itself is quite important... to me, anyway...

initboy
this is short for "initiative boy," basically. this isn't an important personality.

The Kid
a genius who wants to take over the world, and has an ever-changing grand plan to do so... and when he controls the world, he'll make everything perfect. until then, he'll do whatever has to be done to obtain power. he has a fan who also calls himself The Kid, who eventually the real Kid chose to accept as an ally in his plans for world domination. or rather, a tool... he calls him the Other... The Kid (both of them, actually) sometimes manipulate Mulder and Scully as part of their plans...

king tek
he is self-proclaimed king of the Dominion of the Geeks. he actually had people following him for a while, but he went away, and when he came back they were gone. there were geeks around before he joined them, but one day he got an idea that it'd be fun to take over the world, and formed the Dominion of the Geeks, naming himself king, and others didn't have a problem with it. he appointed people as territorial governors of various areas of the world. that's over with now, but perhaps eventually he'll start over, recreate the Dominion... (i've been thinking of making the singer from Harvey Danger my court musician and not telling him)...

Lobster Mobster Mob
a concept stolen from the Little Mermaid cartoon. i set up the idea that the lobster mobster from that show would have a great deal of success someday, and set up a Land Division of his mob. the leader of Land Division is AntScaf 2, based on someone called Antonio Scaffaccio from before i ever came to the Dominion, who i don't know. membership in the mob fluctuates, but i once had a few other handles in it- SkelsBoner (a stupid joke based on some bad guys called the Triad), Horned God (a Druid), chepooka malchick (something like toastboy, minus the toast- a fan of A Clockwork Orange). currently the mob is inactive, but it might resurface someday.

multiboy
leader of the United Handle Federation, or Handle Empire (either one uses the initials UHF). this basically is all my handles on the Dominion should they ever all want to work together for a specific goal. initboy is second in command of the UHF.

saneman
sometimes when I am in the mood for psychological self-analysis, or analysis of others, i call myself saneman- an unlicensed, untrained psychoanalyst who knows what he knows about psychology from devling into the inner recesses of his (my) own mind. he is the mortal enemy of Stuart Smalley.

W
i have a concept of Writers (with a capital W) as a sort of gods- they create worlds and people, who come alive in the minds of readers/viewers/listeners/whatever. and so i created the W Continuum, made up of all Writers, from ancient storytellers and cave-painters, to modern Writers who have no success at all, to the most successful Writers of all times. and anyone within the Continuum could be called "W" (rather like in the Q Continuum), altho once when i tried this I called myself W, and others chose other names involving the letter W...

WatM
Writer at the Moment. the concept is for jointly written stories, or sometimes stories i write myself, wherein a character or characters will be written by various Writers, who are as gods, basically, controlling the events of the stories. and the one writing a given piece at a given time is the Writer at the Moment.

personalities
