He was born in Geneva, on the planet Terra, in the Allied Worlds, on September 21, GY.275. His parents, king Kip O'WARD and queen Demja, were both on the Terran World Council. Kip was of the seventh generation of the House O'WARD, its sixth scion. D'WARD was the House's seventh Scion. He is first in line to inherit his father's throne on Terra.

D'WARD went to the best schools in the Allied Worlds. when he was 17, he joined the Allied Worlds Starfleet Academy. he graduated two years later, and by the time he was 22, he had risen swiftly to the rank of Commander. in 298, when the Fourth Galwar began, he was promoted to Captain, and assigned leadership of the Third Squadrant. by the final year of the war, he was made a vice Admiral, in charge of Starfleet Coordination. he played a large part in winning the war, and in 303 served as an Allied Worlds delegate at the signing of the Treaty of Taxal.

In 304 he was elected President of Terra. he also became the Terran Ambassador to the Galactic Alliance (the new name of the old Allied Worlds). in 306, he was elected President of the Galactic Alliance. this came just after his promotion in Starfleet to Grand Admiral. But with his new position as President of the GA, he was now commander-in-chief of all the armed forces of the Alliance (Starfleet, Army, Navy, Air Force, and Elite Guard). however, he retained the rank of Grand Admiral in Starfleet, which was always (unofficially) his favorite. however, as President, he couldn't ever become Commandant of Starfleet. Perhaps some day he'll resign the Presidency, and do that.

during his years as royal, military, and political service, D'WARD came to know many dignataries, officers, and politicians. his best friend is king Carmedy Robb Kilpath, of the planet Carmedy, in the Galactic Alliance. he is in fact the godfather of Robb's children.

Another royal with whom D'WARD is associated is Queen Isis Marinus, of the planet Icia (capital world of the Temparate Climaxtines). she is also a delegate of the Climaxtin Table, which is made up of the rulers of each of the 11 worlds of the TC. Isis is of the seventh generation of the Family Marinus' ruling Icia. the ruler of Icia is always also the ruler of the Temparate Climaxtines.

D'WARD and Isis date each other primarily, but not exclusively. they are both always in People Netzine's popular 1000 Most Beautiful People in the Galaxy issue. they date hundreds of people across the Galaxy, but their most serious relationship is with each other. they are considered two of the greatest lovers in history, any planets' history. many expect, tho they are probably wrong, that the two will one day marry and/or have children with each other. no one, tho, even dares consider what any such children might look like. besides, if they ever did marry, on that day a trillion hearts would break.
