Magic. well, it's not what you might think. magic is really just the term used for things that aren't understood yet by science. of course, orginally, people could do lots of things... they could use 100% of their brains' capacity, for the first few generations on Earth. but they took most of their capabilities away from themselves, and humanity formed a number of groups with various abilities, but of course "normal" people became the dominant group, and with them came science. there were always people who could use bits of their minds to do things, things that when not understood seem like magic. they themselves didn't know it at first, because people eventually lost their memories of the origins of things, at least partly.
but science has been growing since then, and as more and more is understood, less and less can be called magic. this trend will continue until eventually it is all quite completely understood and becomes rather everyday to use magic, in a scientific fashion. but that's some good time off.
for most of the world. but a few years ago, a group of young scientists who dabbled in magic, and thot there was a connection...found the connection. now they are learning to do a lot of things with what they call sci-maj. it will be a long while before they master it fully, but they continue to learn new applications all the time.
some applications they just use for fun. like creating a world wherein all the people and things they see or hear or read about in tv or movies or books really exist, not as sets or actors or whatever, but really as the characters and everything. and the sci-magicians can enter these worlds and interact however they want with the characters or whatever. they really like doing this.
well, one of these sci-magicians of course is my character, Ward 'Tron' Davis.
oh, and i plan on making a tv series out of this concept someday, if i can. i'll tell you about the series sometime if you ask me to do.
