My Favorite Lemon Cake

My Mom has made this cake since I was a kid. Later, as an adult, I met someone with whom I worked who also made it for office potlucks. Both she and my Mom are from the South, so I assume it has Southern origins. It is very rich and moist.

1 package of Yellow Cake Mix
1 package of Lemon Jello
3/4 cup Water
4 Eggs
3/4 cup Vegetable Oil
1/3 cup Lemon Juice
2 cups Powdered Sugar

Mix first 5 incredients and pour into a greased and floured oblong, (13"x9"), baking dish. Bake in accordance with the directions on the Cake Mix. Blend Lemon Juice and Powdered Sugar. Prick cake well with fork while still warm and pour Lemon Juice/Sugar mixture over the top, allowing it to soak in thru the fork holes.
