Born in Seoul, South Korea, Brandon's childhood and teenage years were spent in St. Louis, MO.
In high school he began his long-lasting friendship with Jim Lee. After graduating from law school
in
1991, Brandon came to San Diego, CA when he had the opportunity to work alongside Jim,
Whilce
Portacio, and Scott Williams.
Fate smiled upon him in the summer of '92 when Image Comics burst onto the comic book scene.
Since then, Brandon has had the good fortune to work with Jim Lee on WildC.A.T.S, Whilce
Portacio on WetWorks, and the popular titles StormWatch, Deathblow, and Gen13.
Brandon and his wife Marie live in La Jolla, CA with their son Holden.
