It all started many years ago when Damocles ( a being from another dimension) destroyed his home planet. Sigma, escaped from this planet and made it to Earth. Dr. Simon Tsung studied him and discovered the Gen-factor within him. This factor was used in experiments on humans by I.O. (International Operations) on soldiers, Team 7. The children of this group were placed into hiding and later found by I.O. They were also submitted to experiments, but escaped thanks to an ex-member of Team 7 and I.O. director John Lynch.
