Composed of the finest solders from all branches of the military, Team 7 was designed to be America’s elite anti-terrorism/cover operations unit during the Cold War and beyond. The group was unwillingly exposed to the Gen-Factor in its gaseous form by National Security Czar Miles Craven, causing each member to gain incredible powers. Despite the team’s success in combat, its members began to question the motives of their superiors, and it was disbanded. Today, former Team 7 members are still active in paramilitary and shadow organizations throughout the country, their aging slowed by the Gen-Factor. Many members’ children have inherited the Gen-Factor and possess superhuman powers themselves.
