	. The waterfalls were beautiful, the water crystal clear and the air oppressively warm. I couldn't blame him for wanting to swim, but am just not the type to climb past Shinto shrines and hop fences for relief from the heat. . He stripped down to pink boxers covered with pigs, and headed towards the water. Within a minute, a crowd of tourists materialized with still and video cameras. I suppose they had seen him from the restaurant above...hard to miss a 6'3" redhead in the hot pink shorts when he's swimming solo in the mountains above Kobe City. . In moments he was out of the water, complaining that there were too many people watching. He seems to honestly have forgotten that, at least here, there are always too many people watching. . It is his hope that everyone will eventually focus on their own lives instead of watching the "crazy foreigners" living theirs. . Every few seconds, trout would shoot up out of the water at the base of the 27 meter falls in a futile attempt to follow their instincts and swim upstream. . siempre, Shy . Copyright SMQ 1998
