	. Did you ever feel as though the world was spinning along, but you had stopped? Frozen in place, able to watch friends move on about their lives without you? Watching them travel from one end of the earth to another, watching them meet for the very first time. No, not literally seeing...just imagining what the rush of emotion must have been like. I envy you both, my friends. My own, previous, meeting was twice buffered by the presence of friends and a spouse and the dynamic was so very, very different. . Almost frustrating. . But by thinking of me, and writing to me, as you sat there dazed...you gave me a gift. . And I thank you. siempre, Shy . Addendum: My deposit is paid...just waiting for that connecting flight between Madrid (or Zurich) and Bangkok.
