Plight of thee Dragon Lordes

'Mother of all Dragons' named Thanrah was she,
The most fiery parent than any dragon could be,
She split the Universe into three,
Protected the Earth where all creatures roamed free,
And following thus she bore new sons,
With lizard skins and slithery tongues,
Breathing fire puffing smoke,
But never once did they ever choke,

The Offspings grew with leathery wings,
With red hot tempers and fiery stings,
But kind old Thanrah would have none of that,
She punished those whose deeds were bad,
And soon the Dragons grew to be Lordes,
With gleaming scales and magick swords,
To rule the world with a balanced eye,
Gliding smoothly through the sky,

But then one day there was a fight,
Between the Dragons and the Knightes,
Not long after the heated rows,
A battle followed a war unfolds,
The swords were pitched the tears were shed,
And many died while the others bled,

Nite after nite day after day,
What would happen no one could say,
A thousand moons had became the past,
Still they fought from dawn to dusk,
A thousand bodies were lain to rest,
Only the injured were around to jest,
But still they fought with might and fury,
Both sides were judges but where was the jury,

And then one nite where the moon came round,
The human warriors without a sound,
Crept to the caves where the Dragon-lordes slept,
Poisoned their meats and all that they kept,
Then came the dawn which saw the deaths,
The Dragons died and none was left,
Twas how the Humans came in hordes,
Ended the very last of the dragon Lordes...
