In the wee hours of December 6th, while the first sections of the Russian-American built International Space Station were beginning to lumber together weightlesslessly, taking shape in the heavens, another Russian-American joint project, heavier by just under 8 pounds, was also well underway.

Victor Vadim Connelly was born at 9:31 PM under a big golden moon in the Columbia Reston Hospital Center. Both Mother Tatiana and baby Victor are beautiful and doing picture perfectly here at home...It's the father who's only now recovering, or as a visiting friend commented at the hospital, "Damn Bill, you look like someone hit you with a bat or something!"

So, please do forgive me if this page is a little rough or typoed, looking like someone coded it with their elbows. Just enjoy the pictures of one of life's little miracles.
