Chimeras is an evening length dance and theatre piece which was originally performed on January 28, 1996 at Hollins College. The text consisted of several poems which were broken up and interspersed between the characters. Many of the pivotal moments of the piece contain little to no speech as the story is continued through modern dance, in addition to choreographed moments a structured improvisation is continued under the text at all times.
