- Cibo Matto are currently recording their second album in New York City... it should be coming out in September.
- The new film Half Baked (directed by Tamra Davis) includes a new Cibo Matto song, "Who's Got The Light," produced and mixed by Tricky. The soundtrack is available on MCA Records.
- The Cibo Matto song "Sugar Water" will be featured in the forthcoming film "Lover Girl," starring Sandra Bernhard.
- Cibo Matto performs "J'Etaime" on a new tribute album to French pop star Serge Gainsbourg (Tzadik Records).
- Yuka Honda recently produced the solo album by Cibo Matto bassist, Sean Lennon. The album which includes a vocal duet with Miho Hatori, will be released this Summer on Grand Royal Records.
- Miho Hatori sings on a track on an upcoming Geffen album by Mitchell Froom, who produced "Viva! La Woman." Froom, best known as a producer (*SOUL COUGHING*,Los Lobos, Elvis Costello, Paul McCartney, Suzanne Vega (PSST...Mitchell is Suzanne's husband!), etc..) composed, arranged and plays on tracks sung by Hatori, Vega, Sheryl Crow, Mark Eitzel, M. Doughty and others.
- Miho is also currently working on a song with Kat Bjelland of Babes In Toyland for a soundtrack to the film "Witchblade," based on the best-selling comic book. Bjelland will be assembling the entire soundtrack with various collaborators including Kim Deal, Cristina Martinez, Ween, Trent Reznor, Marilyn Manson and others.
- Yuka Honda is currently producing the debut album by Sean Ono Lennon, which features a Sean/Miho vocal duet. Yuka and Sean perform "The Look of Love" (from Casino Royale) on a new tribute album to composer Burt Bacharach released by John Zorn's Tzadik Records. Additionally, Yuka is playing occasional live dates with jazz trumpeter Dave Douglas, and will appear on his forthcoming
album "Sanctuary" (Avant Records.)
