Dance
Dance for me is about movement. As a non-dancing lover of dance I visually and sentiantly absorb movement and grace, leaping and soaring. Great dance leaves me inspired and fluid. In my dance photography I try to capture the elusive sense of movement and lightness, rootedness and weight that is fleetingly in my mind. The images that inspire me range from the dancer frozen in the arc of a leap to the imprecise blur as movement flows to the still moment of an extended arm. They range from the solo dancer to the group to the solo in the group.
